What is covered in the General Worker delivery
This course aids to demonstrate knowledge of working safely as a general worker on a worksite under temporary traffic management, by covering the following topics:
- Common hazards within the working space of a TTM worksite
- The roles and responsibilities of personnel working on or alongside a TTM worksite
- The importance of attending a TTM safety briefing
- Personal protective equipment for working within or alongside a TTM worksite
- Safety zones and no-go zones on a TTM worksite
- TTM equipment used to control worksite access, exit, and haul routes
What to bring:
- Bring reading spectacles if required.
- Casual dress code (NO WORK BOOTS)
- Water Bottle / Rainsuit (weather permitted) / Warm Jacket
- Photo of each attendee will be taken at start of course for ID Card

- Park on site at the office (Limited spots available) OR any on street parking (free).
- Take note of possible Event Signs (Fridays) 3pm limit
- Penrose Train Station across the road from Office

- Unit Standard 31957 accreditation against NZQA Record of Learning

Compulsory Proof of Identification requirement for enrolment:
- National Student Number (NZQA RoL) or
- Passport (current) or

- Note - Driver License not acceptable as proof of identification
